OHIO WEDDING OFFICIANT

Welcome Happy Couples; congratulations on your engagement and wedding plans. Thank you for taking the time to visit my web page. My name is Daniel, and I am an ordained Marriage Minister (licensed Ohio Officiant) through the Universal Life Church and American Marriage Ministries. I can perform weddings in all 50 states, but primarily operate in Ohio and West Virginia. I became ordained through Universal Life Church because they are a non-denominational and inter-denominational organization. I am not associated with any particular religion, thus I can perform any style and type of wedding, no questions asked, no judgement from me, It's your day!

If you are looking for someone who is flexible and understanding to perform your wedding ceremony, then look no further. I am willing to give you the wedding YOU want, any type or style. I will accommodate your ideas and taste into the ceremony without hesitation or questions asked. I am here to provide a service and make sure your biggest day is just the way you dream it. In fact, I have written ceremonies for people who are ChristianCatholic, Jewish, PaganBuddhist, and completely Non-Religious. If you can imagine it, together we can make it happen. Whether it is indoors, outdoors, formal, casual, redneck, Star Wars or another fun theme, it doesn't matter to me- I just enjoy performing weddings!

Watch Me Perform an Outdoor Wedding Ceremony!

I get a lot of couples asking me why I started performing weddings to begin with, so let me tell you just a little bit about myself. I had always thought about getting ordained to start a small wedding business on the side, but it wasn't until I was in attendance for a poorly conducted wedding service that I finally took the steps. The friends and family commented to me, "You could have done such a better job!" and that got me motivated to finally pursue getting ordained and beginning the wedding business. Additionally, I am also married, a family man, an outdoor enthusiast, and enjoy all things country. I love seeing people get married, it is such a special bond between two people who are truly in love and wish to spend their lives together, everyone deserves to get married if they want to. I am here to provide that service!

Yes, that's me! I have been married since August of 2004 to the love of my life. Every year of marriage keeps getting better than the last, and I believe marriage is a sacred bond between two people who want to live out their lives together. We have a beautiful family together because of our marriage. I loved my wedding, and would be honored to be a part of your special day!

Here is some basic information about the services I offer:

COMPLETELY UNBIASED- Since I am ordained through Universal Life Church, I am not bound to any one church or religious organization and am free to conduct any wedding, and since I am ordained through American Marriage Ministries I am free to perform weddings in all 50 states. I set my personal beliefs aside to provide you a professional service, no matter what.

FLEXIBLE & PUNCTUAL- Since I work a normal job during the week, I am free to perform evening and weekend weddings. I can also meet with busy couples on Saturdays and Sundays! *Unless requested, I perform weddings in a black collar shirt and khaki pants- see picture.

AFFORDABLE & FAIR
- Unlike some big Church Pastors or those officiants who make a living off of their services (whose average charges range from $450-$700) I won't charge you more than the brides dress. I have several prewritten ceremonies, some offered with and without vows, and all of my prices are up front:

Basic Quickie- for couples keeping it quick, no vows included (5-7 minutes) $100.00
Short & Sweet- like the name suggests, multiple choice vows (7-10 minutes) $150.00
Standard Religious- full length faith based ceremony with vows (10-15 min.) $175.00
Standard Non-Religious- full length standard ceremony with vows (10-15 min.) $175.00
Fully Customized Ceremony- handcrafted and written for you (15-30 min.) $200.00

FUN & ENERGETIC- I can take your ceremony serious enough to show your grandparents the weddings of their day, or I can cut loose and have fun like the young couple, indoors or out, this is your special day!

EMAIL TEXT FACETIME SKYPE- Unlimited communications, phone, text, email, FaceTime and Skype. Free ceremony quotations. Free, unlimited face-to-face personal meetings to look over ceremonies and options! (Face-to-face meetings are held at McDonald's, 4223 OH-43, Kent OH, 44240 conveniently located right off I-76, or 5 minutes from KSU).

RECEPTION BLESSINGS- Some couples ask the Officiant to stay for the reception (please don't feel obligated, I can't always stay) and perform a dinner blessing and/or prayer before the meal is served. This is a service included with your ceremony, I can write something special, or read whatever you have written. I can accommodate any religious or non-religious style.

MEMORIALIZE YOUR CEREMONY ON YOUTUBE- For no extra charge I can bring my camcorder and tape your ceremony. Afterwards, I will edit the video and upload it to my YouTube account and add it to this website! Free!

So what else is left?

Contact me to see sample ceremonies or ask any questions that you may have! Don't forget to secure your date, once you agree to have me perform your ceremony I will need to collect a $20.00 cash deposit (non-refundable) to hold your date.

Sample ceremonies are not to be used without permission.

REMEMBER- If you've just set a date for your wedding, this can be a busy and hectic time for you. It can also be exciting and forgetful for you and your families. Don't let OHIO MARRIAGE LAWS slow you down. Laws and requirements may vary from county to county, so be sure to check with your local county court house, or go online and GOOGLE marriage license laws for the county you will be getting married in. You don't have to be an Ohio resident to get married here, just apply in person with a valid ID in the county you plan on getting married in. You'll need to know your social security number, and if you're divorced, a copy of your divorce decree. The good news is, there is no waiting period in Ohio, you walk out that same day with your marriage license ready for your Officiant to sign off on. Costs vary from $40-$60.00.
